School continues |
I got word that people actually check this. In other words: Hi Grandma P! Hi Aunt Mary! :)
Since people actually check it, i'll post some more pics for some excitement. (some are from lab and may be gross jsut fyi)
Here is a quick introduction to my life at the moment: A Day in the life of a vet student
1) Get up at 6 am, shower, eat, walk Gracie, get in car and drive to school, walk from free on-street parking to campus.
2) 7:45 am Get in building and go to study carrel. Here is a pic of my carrel-mate Adrienne.
3) 8am Sit in room 125 for the next 4-6 hours, eat lunch in the same room because some drug rep is giving you free lunch (vet students are easily bribed by food)
4)2:30 pm Back to study carrel to dress for lab.
5) 2:35 pm Down to anatomy lab for 3-4 hours. Cut apart dead animals and study muscles, nerves, veins and arteries. Bonus point: actual human interaction with lab group members.
L to R: Jessie, Danielle, Andrew and Bridget. Friends and lab group members.
Here is Jessie waving underneath Elsie the cow. She sits near me in class and is one of my lab group members.
6) 5:30 pm Go home and study for 6 hours. 2nd bonus point: study group!! We do study group at my house because i have a killer whiteboard. We all sit in the hall while one person draws or quizes us on the board. Gracie decided to join us last time.
7) 12:00 am Call Boyfriend, go to bed and repeat in 5 hours.
So yup, thats my life at the moment. |
