Getting out in the world

pictures: 1stnd: evan and i at the tower bridge, 2nd: stonehenge with me and LB. very rainey please excuse my hair.

This week hasn't been the most exciting. Most things in Oxford we have seen and done already so it is just us going back to visit the favorites. We seem to have settled into a routine of getting up, getting breakfast, class, some adventures in teh afternoon, supper, then some activity between 8-10ish.then bed.

We've been hanging out with the moorhead boys more lately (evan, logan and mike). they are just hilarious to hang out with. logan is crazy talented at music, evan and him get together and play the piano for us once in a while. They are really easy going guys always up for jsut a walk around town. Lb and i will miss them when we have to split off from them for the continental tour.

yesterday LB and i took off to explore london for ourselves. We felt comfortable enough to do some expolring without having someone lead us around or a guy to protect us. we separated from a larger group that was going back to the british museum so we could go check out Hyde park and the natural history museum. Hyde park is beautiful! for those of you who have seen "finding neverland" the park scenes were filmed in hyde park. Very greed and lush with a lot of water features with wild ducks, swans and geese swiming around. We talked with this one guy who was feeding te birds bread. he warned us about the dangers of american rap music :) it was kinda funny. In Hyde park we also got to see the statue of peter pan and the albert memorial and some people riding horses around (yes i was drooling over the horses, i can't wait until ireland!). after that we made it to the natural history museum. That place is by far the coolest place we have visited yet!!! they have so many full skeletons of dinosaurs and a couple mechanical replications that move and screech at you when you walk by. LB and i are prettty much in shock over all of it. we almost started freaking out in that stupid high pitched screem girlly jump around thing that girls do. WE could have sat there and watchd the t-rex all day. the thing was so cook that even its eyes would appear to focus on you. it was really realy cool. after some running around in the museum (about an hour and a half) we took off as the museum was closing. our original plan was to go tour parliment since we knew that that was open later. on the way there we walked through st. james park and had a little picnic, watchng the geese, swans, ducks, squirells and pelicans. it was so pretty since the sun was starting to set. WE also stopped to get a picture in a phone booth with big ben in the background. by the time we got to parliment they were closed for some party or meeting so we just decide to walk to vicorias station and putts around until our bus came. we eneded up jumping in a couple book stores and the train station (kinda like a mini mall) to get some raspberry whitechocolate cookies from millies cookies (our new additction). then it was a quick bus ride home to wycliff and a stop at husainnes to eat. it was there LB and i decided that we loved being girls since the cookie guys gave us extra cookies and the hussains guys give us free fries. :)

anyawy thaks for the comments and e-mails guys!!! i love being kept update with waht is going on!
