Thoughts |
In a month I will be "homeless" again. Not quite at home with my parents, no place to call my own in b-town, not quite ready to make the transition down to the cities. For now I'm trying not to think about it too much, and just enjoy the time I have left in B-town.
I have truely felt at home here the last 5 years, I will miss it. There has definately been the ups and downs, but I've never felt like I didn't belong here. Here are some pics from the last 5 years. :(

Randomness |
Last year at this time, I was starting my continental tour of Europe. I was looking at some of the pictures and decided to post some. Its weird how you could have such "ordinary" days in such unordinary places. |

Charity and I were just discussing how we miss being able to snuggle with blankets in the summer. Many times it just gets too warm to use any blankets, much less being totally immersed with blankets. I came to the realization that being sad about not being cold for 4 months must be the trait of only a true minnesotan.
Also, Bravo to BSU for the Imovie film festival. Andi did a wonderful job with the red carpet theme. I love how it all seemed like one big party on campus (and didn't have to have alcohol!) The movies were great, the anouncer fabulous (yay for billy), and everyone seemed to just have a great time!!! Check it out along with last years winners.

The Top Ten Reasons To Become a Veterinarian:
10. To gain decorative scars about the hands, arms, and face 9. So I can get paid half as much as an M.D. for twice the work 8. Because you can muzzle vicious animals, but people... it's kind of frowned upon... 7. I thought I was in law school 6. Because formaldehyde makes me feel sexy 5. Because its a zoo out there 4. For the tremendous cultural respect showered upon vets 3. Because I can express anal glands better than I can express my feelings 2. Because I like 8 day weeks 1. I want to hear "Why didn't you become a REAL doctor" for the rest of my life |

update just because |
Yeah so not a whole lot has happened this week. Work, school, ect. Lucas and I went to my parents for easter, had a good time, craziness with family is always good. This weekend, we're taking off for the cities to check out a house I might move into. This summer could get interesting as my lease here expires end of may, and I don't really want to move to the cities until at least early august, so . . . couch crashing may become my new past time.
Things that are irritating me this week: *People who expect others to help them, but never say thanks or return the favor. *The not-quite-spring-still- cold-and-snowing-even-though-its-april weather we're having. *People who think that no one could ever possibly be as busy as them. *Stupid people (i think that is pretty much constant).
Things that make me happy this week: *Lucas . . deals with my grumpy-ness and makes me laugh. *My puppy, all clean and clean smelling after her bath. *The birds are back and singing even though it doesn't feel like spring outside. *I haven't had any major bites/scratches/bruises from work in the past week.
Yup thats it, time to eat the supper my honey brought for me. |
